LGBTQ Support

Despite the prevalence of intimate partner violence in all communities, social services agencies, criminal justice systems and medical personnel are often hindered by a lack of awareness, knowledge and even denial of the existence of intimate partner violence for LGBTQ individuals.  SPAN provides information, emergency shelter, outreach counseling, education and support to LGBTQ people regarding intimate partner violence and works to ensure appropriate justice system response to cases involving interpersonal violence. For more information about specific services & systems in place to support LGBTQ individuals, call our Crisis & Information Hotline at 303.444.2424 or send us an email.
