SUMMARY:McGUCKIN HARDWARE: Round Up at the Register
DESCRIPTION:October 9–18 | Round Up at the Register and help support SPAN.  \n📍 2525 Arapahoe Ave., Boulder, CO 80302 \nA Community That Takes Care of Its Neighbors \nFor more than 70 years, McGuckin Hardware has been part of everyday life in Boulder. Generations of customers have walked through its doors for everything from a hard-to-find part to a weekend project—and along the way, the store has built something bigger: a relationship with the community around it. \nThat relationship is one reason McGuckin has proudly supported SPAN since 2016. \nFor McGuckin, giving back is part of being a local business. The company sees SPAN’s work providing safety, advocacy, and support to people and families affected by violence as closely aligned with its belief that “a strong community takes care of its neighbors.” \nThis October, that commitment comes to life through McGuckin’s Register Round-Up program. \nFrom October 9–18, customers can choose to round up their purchase at the register, with the additional funds supporting SPAN. It’s a simple action, but McGuckin has seen how those extra cents—and sometimes extra dollars—can add up to thousands of dollars for local nonprofits. \nThat matters because community support doesn’t always have to be a big gesture. \nSometimes it’s the few extra cents added to an everyday purchase. Sometimes it’s a business making space for a local organization. And sometimes it’s thousands of people making a small choice that adds up. \nMcGuckin says it is continually inspired by the generosity of its customers and grateful for the opportunity to make a difference “one round-up at a time.” \nSupport SPAN at McGuckin Hardware October 9–18 by rounding up your purchase at the register.\n
