Growing Gardens & FREE Program
May 3 @ 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM
The Family Resiliency, Empowerment Engagement (FREE) Program and Caregiver Support are open, weekly, drop-in groups on Wednesday evenings from 4:30-5:30 pm. The child and youth group offers a creative curriculum for ages 5-12 in combination with their caregivers simultaneously attending a support group practicing the integration of the same socio and emotional material in real-time.
From April to May, the Growing Together group uses hands-on horticultural therapy to encourage family bonding and learning. The goal of the group is to learn psychoeducation about socio and emotional skills and communication, connecting with one another, increasing relationships and a sense of community, appreciating environmental roots, and learning more about the local organization, Growing Gardens.

April 26: Paint pots and plant seeds: SPAN Outreach Center
May 3: Bees and Honey: Growing Gardens Farm or Boulder Outreach Center TBD
