Our Youth Violence Prevention Curriculum is an evidence-based curriculum taught in Boulder and Broomfield Counties.

Violence Prevention Educators lead students through interactive, engaging activities. The content is made relatable through developmentally appropriate questions, discussions, and scenarios. Students gain a comprehensive understanding of healthy, unhealthy, and abusive relationships. Youth are empowered to recognize red and green flags within their relationships, challenge stereotypes, and understand and practice consent.

“This curriculum is so important, why didn’t I learn this earlier? This would have been helpful in middle school.”

-T. (BVSD High School Student)

“Feeling unsafe in schools derails students from their ability to learn, their connection with others, and from reaching their best potential. Violence prevention education allows students to learn about healthy relationships, the importance of creating emotionally and physically safe spaces, and how to advocate for their needs, which altogether creates a safer and more welcoming community.”

– Kenzie (BVSD Graduate)
