Meet Lisa, our new Finance and Operations Director! We are thrilled to welcome Lisa as she is the first person to hold this position at SPAN. Lisa will be responsible for financial reporting and control, human resources, general organizational administration, risk management, and facility oversight. As SPAN has grown as an organization, our staff and processes must also grow. Lisa will help ensure efficiency in financial reporting while maintaining our focus on accuracy and transparency. SPAN is excited about this new position within our leadership team and grateful to have Lisa on board!
Longtime Boulder resident and University of Colorado graduate, Lisa is a Certified Management Accountant and spent most of her career in the tech sector. About ten years ago, Lisa decided she wanted to give back, transitioning to the non-profit sector. Most recently, Lisa worked at YWCA Boulder County and spearheaded their initiatives to expand capacity and improve financial sustainability. Lisa has always been a SPAN supporter, and when the Finance and Operation Director position opened, she jumped at the opportunity to join our team. Lisa is looking forward to being part of SPAN’s mission of supporting survivors of domestic violence and their children enabling us to further our use of resources to balance the expansion of services and sustainability.
