SPAN has implemented additional precautions at our Shelter and Outreach locations to limit the potential spread of the virus. The SPAN 24-hour Crisis & Information Line (303.444.2424) will remain in full operation. The SPAN Emergency Shelter will continue to provide safe refuge for survivors and their children. The Shelter capacity will be reduced to limit the spread of illness.

BOULDER, Colo. — (Jan. 29, 2020) — The Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence (SPAN) today announced the 39th annual Chocolate Lovers’ Fling. The event will take place at the Omni Interlocken Hotel Saturday, Feb. 8 beginning at 5:30 p.m. Proceeds benefit SPAN in the organization’s mission to support survivors of domestic violence and their children.
Wana Brands pledges to match up to $10,000 of donations to SPAN on CO Gives Day. SPAN’s Board of Directors pledges to match up to $2,500 of donations for a grand total of $12,500!
Boulder mother of two, Monica Sianez-Hernandez was murdered by her intimate partner on Friday, November 1st. SPAN is working with our community partners to provide support to those impacted by Monica’s death.
